45 Kids Talk Show

45 Kids is a concept created by my daughter, Zizi45, designed to provide children with a safe and supportive space to livestream DJ sets using 7″ vinyl. Since its launch, the project has hosted several 45 Kids livestreams on Twitch, including Halloween and Christmas specials, charity events in support of Shelter, and celebrations marking Zizi’s birthday.

In addition to the DJ sets, the series also features four 45 Kids talk shows, with appearances from Heyboy DJ, Heygirl DJ, Minimal P, The Sunday Getdown, DJ Ohhh, Polly Phonics, TTT, Little Flower, Indy Mix, and The Junior Loves.

We looked at a number of charities and decided that Jessie’s Fund was a great charity to support. https://jessiesfund.org.uk/

They aim to:

• enable children in every children’s hospice in the UK to access music therapy by establishing posts for music therapists, providing appropriate musical instruments, and offering musical training to staff;

• help children in special schools and hospitals to participate in creative musical activities;

• train staff in special schools to use music as a tool for communication and learning.
