Once upon a time, 20 odd years ago, Bristol based DJ & promoter Mr Lingo was the founder of the notorious party-starting outfit ”Funk From The Trunk”.

Now into his 45th revolution, his love for 45s is undiminished!

A versatile, party rocking DJ, where you could expect to hear anything from straight up funk, soul and hip-hop, through to jazzy beats and boogaloo, with the odd mash-up.

Lingo’s career saw him appear alongside some of the world’s finest funk acts such as Breakestra, The Bamboos, Marva Whitney, Osaka Monaurail, Hackney Colliery Band & The Haggis Horns, whilst supporting artists and DJs including Fat Freddys Drop, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Yoda, Ugly Duckling, Questlove, Krafty Kuts & A-Skillz and The Nextmen.

FFTT were regularly found rocking crowds at festivals and events throughout the UK and Europe from 2005, earning them the accolade of “guaranteed party-starters!”
