4.5 Minutes of 45s is a DJ competition built around one simple idea: what can you do in 4.5 minutes using 7″ vinyl?
Short, sharp and creative, it challenges DJs to think differently, push their selection, and deliver maximum impact in minimal time.

Inspired by the creativity of turntablism and short form DJ routines, 4.5 Minutes of 45s brings that energy into the world of 7″ vinyl.

How It Works
DJs are invited to submit a 4.5 minute video mix using 7″ vinyl.
Entries are reviewed, and selected finalists will be featured during the 45 Day 2026 livestream, where their videos will be played and judged.
This is not a live performance the submitted videos form the competition itself.
