The story of We Love 45s in Hamburg began with a simple idea. In July 2023, Criztoz proposed hosting a 45s boat party, which led to a collaboration with Svolanski and the development of a multi day We Love 45s event in the city.
That original concept came to life in 2024, when We Love 45s collaborated with Svolanski and the 45 Soulciety to deliver a three day, 30 DJ, six venue celebration of 7” vinyl. Eleven of the DJs featured were part of the 45 Day community, underlining the international reach of the project. The success of this event went on to inspire the 45 Soulciety to create their own festival.
In 2025, We Love 45s returned to Hamburg for an expanded collaboration with Svolanski and Drop Out, delivering a four day takeover featuring a live stream, record store in store session, bar event, boat party, and club night.
