We❤️45s: Panama

In April 2024, We Love 45s delivered its most ambitious and far-reaching event to date and its first international edition in collaboration with Malong from The Asymetrics.

The multi day celebration began with a private party and an in store livestream as part of US 45 Day at LongPlay Record Store. The weekend then moved to Collectivo, featuring a headline set from Criztoz followed by a special back to back after party session with Malong.

The main event took place on 6 April 2024 at El Cangrejo Radio, hosting 12 hours of non-stop 45s. The lineup brought together 15 DJs of all genders and ages, alongside record sellers, food from Anti Burger, craft beer from Chorrea X, and live performances from the Off Limits Dance Crew.

All sets were broadcast live on Twitch via El Cangrejo Radio and Forty Five Day, allowing the global community to join in. The event formed part of the wider 45 Hours of 45s online takeover curated by Criztoz, including show 145 of the award-winning Coffee & Donuts.

A second We Love 45s event returned to El Cangrejo Radio in September 2024, taking place as part of three simultaneous We Love 45s events happening across Cambridge, Panama City, and Stoke, highlighting the truly global reach of the movement.

The connection continued in 2025 with a 45 Day Panama live event at El Cangrejo Radio, running alongside other 45 Day live stream events taking place simultaneously in Ottawa and the Netherlands further reinforcing Panama City’s role as a key international hub within the We Love 45s and 45 Day ecosystem.
