The Funky Gunners DJ collective is a dynamic group of vinyl DJs and record collectors known for their eclectic blend of funk, soul, and beats with sets taking in music from virtually every genre.
The Funky Gunners are best known for the weekly open decks night they host in The Gunners bar Broughty Ferry and for their radio shows on JAM radio (Dundee’s radio station). A regular fixture at Newport-On-Tay’s Big Rock events the Funky Gunners can often be found spinning tunes and ensuring the vibes are right before, between and after live acts perform their sets both at the Rio Community Centre and at the Lughnasadh festival.
