On Saturday 29 June 2025, We Love 45s brought a sunshine fuelled 7” vinyl takeover to Westbourne Primary School Field as part of the Westbourne Weekend celebrations.

Representing We Love 45s, Ed Bond and Criztoz opened the festival, setting the tone for the day with a feel good selection of strictly 7” vinyl. The afternoon soundtrack moved through funk, soul, reggae, disco, hip hop, and more.

The event embraced the full community festival spirit, with blankets on the grass, local beer from Emsworth Brewery, and food stalls serving BBQ, hog roast, and vegan curry. Kids’ activities, face painting, and ice cream rounded out a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere that made the day accessible to all ages.

The Westbourne event perfectly captured the We Love 45s ethos: community first, and music as a shared celebration, opening the festival in style and proving once again that 7” records belong everywhere.
