We Love 45s Hengelo was part of We Love Halloween 45s Netherlands 2025, a three day, three city, five venue takeover celebrating 7” vinyl culture across the country.
Hengelo had already played host earlier in the year, with a We Love 45s session at Elpees Van Kees for 45 Day 2025, setting the tone for what would become a deeper connection with the city and its community of vinyl lovers.
On 30 October 2025, for the opening event, we returned to Elpees Van Kees as part of the city’s Halloween Trick or Treat late night route, bringing 45s into the heart of the celebrations with a special in-store session that set the mood for the weekend.
The next night, we hosted our Halloween 45s special, built around the 7 Deadly 7s theme. Each DJ played their seven deadliest Halloween 45s, delivering rapid fire selections soundtracked by heavy grooves, spooky moments, and deep cut surprises.
With DJs and dancers in fancy dress, immersive live visuals, and a powerful sound system, the night became a full sensory celebration blending vinyl culture, performance, and pure Halloween energy.
Hengelo played a key role in making the Halloween Netherlands run one to remember.
