The We Love 45s journey at Glastonbury Festival began prior to COVID, when the Original 45ers played at the festival in 2019, helping lay the foundations for what would follow.

In June 2022, We Love 45s returned to Glastonbury, bringing the energy of 7” vinyl to the festival with performances from Criztoz (founder of 45 Day) and Sam Tweaks. The sessions took place at the SS Broke Britain Crew Bar in the immersive Unfairground, before expanding to the Ridge & Furrow public bar near the West Holts Stage, reaching an even wider crowd of festival goers.

A huge shout out goes to Toby and the SS Broke Britain crew, whose support made these sessions possible, along with the venues and spaces that welcomed We Love 45s into the heart of the festival.

The experience was also captured through a series of talk shows before and after the festival, including a special conversation with Jamie from Shaka Loves You, offering a behind the scenes look at bringing 45s culture to one of the world’s most iconic festivals.
