We Love 45s lands in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico for the very first time with an all day celebration of 7” vinyl, art, and community. Organised in collaboration with Rodriga Rockmore, this special event takes place at the Azul Arena Art Gallery, bringing together local culture and global 45s energy.
The day features 10 local 45s DJs spinning selections exclusively on 7” vinyl, alongside great art, a food truck, and an open, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the heart of the We Love 45s movement.
This event marks our first ever We Love 45s event in Mexico, and an important milestone in the growing worldwide network of DJs, collectors, and music lovers connected through 45s.
Expect eclectic sounds, deep crates, shared stories, and a strong sense of community all centred around the power of music, vinyl culture, and connection.

We Love 45s Arrives at the Border
The party with DJs from Ciudad Juárez and El Paso will take place on February 21

The global celebration of the 7-inch vinyl record will bring together DJs from Ciudad Juárez and El Paso on February 21 as part of the event titled “We Love 45s.”
Created in London, the party arrives in this city for the first time and has found in Galería Azul Arena the ideal space for lovers of the format to come together and for the public to dance to the rhythm of the best musical selections. Around a dozen DJs will perform, playing styles that range from funk, cumbia, boogie, hip hop, reggae and soul.
“We Love 45s is a global event that began in London and has been held in Germany, Australia, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Panama, and in more than 30 cities. Getting to know the creator, one day he mentioned it would be great if I could host the event. We started talking and decided it was time to make it happen,” commented border DJ Rodriga Rockmore.
She added that this DJ gathering will celebrate the best music format that exists: 45 RPM vinyl — a small record that spins at 45 revolutions per minute, delivering clearer sound with a higher level of detail.
“It is a celebration of the format, of music, of community and of art, because at Azul Arena there will be an expo, so we expect people to dance and have fun. We start at midday and there is no set end time, but it will probably finish around 9 p.m. The event is for all ages and there will be vinyl vendors, T-shirts, drinks and food.”
In the music and culture market, there will be participation from Cultural Border, Discos Tormento, and Calaveras y Diablitos, among others.
