Southern Soul System
My name is Blake. I’m a native Texan now living in Seattle for almost a decade. I got into record collecting 45’s as a hobby when my son was born and I had some time away from my day job. This turned into an all out obsession, as i really reconnected with the music I grew up listening to. I DJ under the name Southern Soul System, which i feel encompasses my persona as a force of musical appreciation and performance. I LOVE this music, and any opportunity to share it with people and facilitate dancing I see as a privilege and blessing. Keep the faith.
