Bio
Nyboe is a Danish Hip Hop Vinyl-DJ living in Copenhagen. He has been playing for almost 20 years, warmed up for international artists like The Alchemist, Oddisee, Onyx, Masta Ace and many more and has won international mixtape contests from the likes of Wax Poetics and Reloop.
Nyboe is known for his extensive vinyl collection, which he shows off on Instagram on @nyboesvinyler and he also has the radio show VINYL ECHOES about analogue music with djf1bi and his own podcast Nyboe’s Pod.
For this mixtape Nyboe has dug deep into his 7” collection and gone for some of the more uplifting and uptempo tracks in his collection – mainly jazz, soul and afro. 23 tracks from countries like Denmark, Italy, Turkey, Iran, France, Australia, USA, UK and Norway. Still with a hip hop twist though and some alternative versions of tracks you might know. What’s uplifting is up for interpretation, but he has tried to put his own spin on what lifts your spirit.
