Jake Detonator
Born in Hull, but now based in London, JAKe is an illustrator, designer, writer and animation director who has worked for clients worldwide, including a longstanding relationship with Lucasfilm ( Star Wars, Indiana Jones) He has also worked with The Mighty Boosh, The Prodigy, Comme Des Garçons, Ugly Duckling, Sugarhill Records Prince Fatty, Chali 2na and Krafty Kuts and to name but a few. His books include the acclaimed graphic novel, ‘Hellraisers’ (SelfMadeHero ), ‘How To Speak Wookiee’ and ‘How to Speak Droid with R2-D2’, ‘How To Speak Astromech with BB-8 ( Chronicle/Lucasfilm ) and ‘The Mammoth Book Of Street Art’ (Constable Robinson ). He has done remixes for The Love Theme, Feral Five, Chali 2na and Krafty Kuts and his debut hip hop 45 ‘Requiem For DOOM’ / ‘Stoneferry Morning’ is out soon on Dinked Records.
