Ricki Friedmann (DJ Rockin’ Ricki) is a Chicago-based sonic storyteller who uses words + music to break barriers, cultivate community, and empower individuals. Her collection features an eclectic mix of soul, funk, rhythm and blues, garage, rockabilly, and country-western 45s from the ’50s through the ’70s. Whether it’s curating the mood at a cocktail bar, providing the soundtrack to a themed vintage dance party, or partnering with an organization in support of a cause, there’s nothing she loves more than curating a set of songs to set the vibe and bring people together.
