45 Day is very proud to present an exclusive 45th birthday mixtape from DJ Oonops “Oonops Drops – 45th with 45s for 45 Day”.

DJ Oonops plays vinyl only uplifting DJ Sets covering a wide range of styles from Soul, Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop to Reggae, Dub, Afro and Organic Grooves.

He has shared the stage with many acts and artists including Nightmares on Wax, Arrested Development, Coldcut, Large Pro, The Beatnuts, DJ Format, and many more.

In addition he has hosted a bi-monthly vinyl only show “Oonops Drops” on Brooklyn Radio (NYC) for over 7 years which features guest mixes from renowned artists from around the globe like Skratch Bastid, Coldcut, Rich Medina, Kutiman, Morcheeba, Fat Freddy’s Drop and many more.

In May 2021 he launched his label Oonops Drops and besides the music (Jazz, funk, hip hop, etc) there is a focus on sustainability, climate protection and social-cultural values. The label works with the worldwide most sustainable pressing plant “Deepgrooves”, deliver with DHL Green and participate at the “1% For The Planet” project.

He has also launched the worldwide first commuter 45-record bag designed with a local and social-cultural organistion.
