Join us for a family friendly camping and music weekend in the beautiful East Sussex countryside.

Your ticket includes:

  • Access to the event from 3pm on Friday 28 July 2023 to 12 noon on Sunday 30 July 2023
  • Camping/Campervan pitch 
  • Access to the barn and outside area where DJs will be playing 7″ vinyl sets including some of the 45 Kids (Friday evening/Saturday day/evening)
  • Circus Skills (Saturday morning)
  • Kids basic DJing workshop session
  • Access to the woodland and lake field
  • Crafting session (charity donation)
 
Food & Drink 

Guests can bring their own food and drink to consume in the campsite. 

In addition guests will be able to purchase food and drink from the following vendors at the event:

  • Roving Alchemist Campervan cocktail bar (Friday evening/Saturday)
  • Boela Co. Pizza stall (Friday/Saturday evening)
  • Salt and Sea coffee van (Saturday morning)

Site Rules and Booking Conditions

Little Downash is a small, family run camping and glamping site.

We believe strongly in respecting one another and this must be evidenced in all visitors behaviour while on site. The safety and enjoyment of everyone either representing or staying at Little Downash is our main concern and therefore we request you read and agree to following rules when purchasing a ticket for this event.

If you would like some clarification on any of the rules/booking conditions please feel free to send us an email at fortyfiveday@gmail.com and we will reply as soon as we can (usually within 24 hours).

The owners/representatives of Little Downash reserve the right to ask anyone on site who contravenes these rules or behaves in a disrespectful manor or who causes a nuisance or distress to others (whether proven or not) to leave the property immediately, ceasing your attendance at this event (we shall not be liable for any costs incurred by you).

Bookings, Arrivals & Departures

We reserve the right to refuse any booking.

Visitors to Joy Revolution Weekend 2023 must arrive after 3pm and before 8pm, unless prior arrangements have been made. If on the day of your arrival you are delayed please contact us so we can try to arrange an out of hours arrival time.

Departing guests must vacate the site by 12pm midday

Late departures may incur a penalty fee of £20.

Joy Revolution Weekend attendees will be allocated a pitch in the Meadow Field of Little Down Ash. There is an initial allocation of 25 pitches available.

Behaviour Standards

All persons that represent, stay at or visit Little Downash must act in a courteous and respectful manner towards one another.

Children must be supervised properly so they do not cause disruption to others, endanger themselves or others and do not cause damage to any property.

Children especially those under 6 years of age must be supervised/accompanied by a suitable adult when using the toilet and shower block.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and in no circumstance be left on site unaccompanied. The supervising adult/s of any CAMPING & GLAMPING child will be held responsible and liable for the behaviour, actions and damages caused by the child in their care.

All guests and visitors must not commit any acts of vandalism, nuisance, undue noise or disturbance while at Little Downash. Playing of music is allowed on small portable speakers until 10pm, however if it is deemed too loud by a Little Downash representative you will be asked to cease playing music immediately. Also in the event that another guest asks you to turn your music down we ask that you agree on an acceptable level or we will ask you to turn the music off.

We expect guests to cease playing music and keep all noise to an absolute minimum between 10pm and 8am.

Health & Safety

Across the whole of Little Downash there is a speed limit of 5mph, this includes when guests use there own pedal bikes. We strongly suggest that children use their bikes only on the grassed areas of the site and only ride on the hardened surfaces when absolutely necessary.

Motorised recreational vehicles (Quad bikes etc.) are not permitted at Little Downash.

Children must be supervised by the lake side in our Lake field campsite and in the Woodland walk.

Swimming and boating is strictly prohibited in any of the lakes and only fishing is allowed in the Lake field campsite lake at an additional daily charge.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome to stay for free at Little Downash and a maximum of two per person is allowed.

Dogs must be on leads at all times at Little Downash there is no exception to this rule. If your dog is seen off its lead by any Little Downash representative you may be asked to leave.

If your dog causes any severe stress or injury to any of our animals you will be asked to leave immediately and you will be required to cover the cost of any veterinary fees.

If your dog is seen off of its lead or it has been reported to any of our representatives after you have received a warning you will be asked to leave immediately.

While we are a dog friendly site please be aware of others and that they may not share a love for dogs, people are often easily scared of dogs no matter their size so please keep your dog on a lead or be prepared to leave.

If you would like to exercise your dog ‘off lead’ please speak to us and we will be happy to recommend near-by options.

General

Guests are welcome to bring their own fire pits/barbecues and logs to Little Downash but fire pits/ barbecues must be raised at least 12 inches (1 foot) from the ground as any burn marks or damaged caused may result in a penalty charge of £10.

Little Down Ash can provide their own fire pits and logs at an additional fee but these are only available on a first come first served basis and must be paid for in full straight away.

Fireworks and Chinese lanterns or alike are strictly prohibited.

Please leave any used disposable barbecues by the side of the bins DO NOT put them in the bins.

Please do not put any coals in to the bins either, please discuss with a Little Downash representative the best way to dispose of any coals or ash. If you have hired one of our fire pits just leave it where it stands and we will take care of the ash and waste disposal.

Guests may use any tree debris found on the floor of the woodland for kindling wood, Guests must not damage any living tree or vegetation at Little Downash.

Generators are not permitted without prior consent and explanation on use while visiting Little Downash.

Any ball games or games that require large amounts of space must be conducted at a safe distance away from other guests and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times when playing.

Water fights are not permitted at Little Downash and nor is the use of any water pistol or any type of firearm that could cause damage to any person, animal or object.

The washing of vehicles is not allowed.

The filling of tanks is prohibited unless prior permission has been granted and the appropriate fee paid.

We ask that vehicle movement between 10pm and 8am is kept to an absolute minimum.

Data Protection & Privacy

The information taken at the time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing your reservation with us. We may process your data to keep you informed of our activities and to keep you updated with news, offers and other information that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information for the marketing purposes described in this paragraph, please let us know.

Photography and Videography

The organisers of Joy Revolution will be taking photos at this event. These images will be used by the organisers of Joy Revolution to share news about the event, and to publicise future events. Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on the organisers social media sites.
