Event 3 of 4 | Day 3 of 4

Day 3 of We Love 45s Amsterdam takes us back to Killa Cutz for our third event at the venue  and one that has a special place in the history of We Love 45s Amsterdam.

This event is once again in collaboration with our good friend Mrk Jcbs, the person who originally suggested bringing We Love 45s to Amsterdam in the first place.

Killa Cutz then became the very first venue we booked for the original We Love 45s Amsterdam series, so it feels particularly fitting to be returning here together as part of our fourth Amsterdam edition.

After Café Bax on Thursday and Café De Duivel on Friday, Saturday will be an eclectic session, bringing together another selection of DJs from the Netherlands and around the world, all playing exclusively on 7″ vinyl.

And eclectic really does mean eclectic.

Expect our DJs to dig into their boxes for funk, soul, hip hop, reggae, Latin, disco, breaks, global sounds, covers and plenty more. There are no real musical boundaries — if it’s on a 45, it’s fair game.

Being surrounded by records makes Killa Cutz the perfect setting for this session. Playing records, discovering records, talking about records and inevitably leaving with a few more records than you arrived with!

For us, returning to Killa Cutz is also a chance to celebrate where this part of the We Love 45s journey began from that first suggestion by Mrk Jcbs to what has now become our fourth event of bringing the community together in Amsterdam.

If you’re in the city for ADE Week, come down, have a dig, meet the DJs and join us for another afternoon of 45s.
