Profile – Criztoz – 45 Day

Criztoz is the founder of 45 Day, a global celebration of 7” vinyl culture, its DJs and the culture. A versatile DJ, live streamer, talk show host, and community builder, he curates dynamic sets blending funk, reggae, hip hop, latin, world, and more all spun exclusively on 7” vinyl.

Through his Twitch channel Criztoz curates epic Twitch shows that bring the global 45s community together online. He co-hosts the Award Winning Saturday 45s Show Coffee & Donuts which hit 200 shows in April 2025. He organises regular 45 Hours of 45s events.  To mark 4.5 years of 45 Day, he organised an ambitious 4.5 Days of 45s – 108 continuous hours of music streamed live. In 2025, he took things even further with six consecutive days of themed Twitch shows for 45 Day’s 6th anniversary, featuring special editions of Got it Covered, FFFRRR, Coffee & Donuts, and the main 45 Day stream with exclusive sets from DJs in Panama, Canada, Australia, and beyond. These events have become a cornerstone of the movement, combining community, creativity, and crate-digging passion in a truly global celebration.

Passionate about mental health advocacy, Criztoz hosts talk shows like Part of My Journey and 45 Day Show, offering DJs a platform to share their stories and openly discuss mental health. In addition to organising Twitch events to raise money for the UK Charity CALM – Campaign Against LIving Miserably.

He is also the driving force behind 45 Kids, a project led by his daughter Zizi45, empowering young DJs and raising funds for children’s music therapy.

As an event organiser, Criztoz has taken the We Love 45s movement across the UK. The events have grown into multi day 7” Vinyl Summits taking place in Amsterdam, Hamburg, London, Panama City and more. These inclusive community events bring together 45s DJs, producers, event organisers and record label owners and music lovers. His dedication to vinyl culture, community building, and philanthropy has made him a respected figure in the global 45s scene.
